Industrial Roller Doors
Gliderol Series B Industrial Roller Doors are constructed using 0.45 gauge Corus steel with a Plastisol paint coating. Ideally suited to low level – medium level security applications, Gliderol industrial roller doors can span openings up to 5000mm wide and 4900mm high.
With strength and safety a priority at all times, this industrial roller shutter door will remain a reliable solution to your security requirements throughout its expected lifespan. The unique design of the door profile and bottom rail system is specifically designed to stop intruder penetration. The door curtain is constructed from a continuous sheet of roll formed steel designed to withstand the worst of weather conditions.
Incorporating Polyglide into the roller doors design, this revolutionary new material developed by Gliderol allows smooth easy operation, with minimum noise and friction. Polyglide has been tested to withstand 22,000 cycles of continuous use, the equivalent of more than 21 years service, based on three cycles per day.
For large industrial roller doors in exposed areas an optional Windlocking system will secure the Gliderol Roller Door against prevailing winds. Windlock Clips fixed to the Roller Door curtain secure the door guide (*Cyclone rated. Certified AS1170-2).
Available in chain hoist manual operation or electric operation using a range of control options.
Insulated Roller Doors
Insulated insulated roller shutter doors are designed to ensure the door can be installed with the minimum amount of effort.
The S77 steel insulated industrial roller shutter has been designed to ensure that the door can be assembled and installed with ease. The S77 is double skin profile roll-formed from a single pre-coloured steel section with a hot injection polyurethane central core, this bonds to the internal face of the section giving additional strength and rigidity.
With a curtain weight 12Kg per m2 & maximum recommended door dimensions of 35Sqm with a restriction of 6000mm opening height, the S77 will cover most large commercial requirements. Additionally, the S77 steel roller shutter door has been independently tested and certified to withstand a Class 5 wind loading at 7000mm wide.
The roll-formed insulated steel profile sections have been thermally assessed to achieve a “U” value of 1.37 W/M.K
The curtain profile incorporates a zinc protective coating applied during manufacture before the finish coat is applied. The zinc coating ensures that the cut ends of the steel profile will not show any signs of corrosion during standard weather conditions.
The S77 industrial roller door is supplied as standard with a fully galvanised fixing kit. With uniform guide sections, mounting future repairs and maintenance can be completed using standard off the shelf materials quickly and efficiently.
The S77 profile also has a reinforced design to interlock each individual door profile to create a strong and secure continuous door curtain. To ensure the door runs smoothly through its entire life span, heavy duty end-caps are pop riveted to the door curtain where it meets the door guides. Incorporated into the design of the doors bottom lath is a 20mm deep rubber seal to prevent unwanted draughts and debris from entering the building.
The motor is a pre-wired 3 phase Safe Drive Direct operator with an inbuilt anti-drop device supplied as standard. All operators come complete with low level manual over-ride in the form of a chain hoist and also include low level controls.
The standard door operation is hold to run, with optional features available such as Auto time return, Plug in loop card, Radio control, Safety edge system.
Solid Galvanised Roller Doors
The SG75 roller shutters are fully galvanised to provide a durable effective security barrier. The individual laths interlock to form a solid door curtain and when combined with a reinforced bottom rail, solid galvanised security roller shutters provide high levels of security.
Available in a wide range of sizes in either manual or electric operation, the roller shutter door is also supplied with a full canopy cover to protect the door roll from the elements.
Perforated Roller Doors
When it is essential that shoppers can browse window displays even when the shutters are down, the perforated roller shutter doors are the ideal security solution. With exactly the same security benefits as a solid shutter, perforated roller doors provide a good balance between the needs of providing security with the needs of the customer being able to see what is inside.
Punched Roller Doors
Ideal for commercial applications such as retail premises or providing security for underground parking, punched roller shutters provide a great amount of light and air to pass through the shutter curtain.
Available in a wide range of profile sizes depending upon the required application. In addition to this, the option of either “in line” or “brick bond” designs can be specified.
