Just 110mm headroom is required for the manual version with 150mm for the automatic version thus freeing more usable space in the garage for storage.
Gliderol sectional doors have low headroom rear mount torsion springing as standard or with front mount torsion springs as an option for larger doors. This type of spring provides reliable assisted lifting and is protected with an anti-drop safety brake to prevent the door from falling should a cable brake.
Telescopic arms provide the option of side fixing, ensuring tracks remain stable and square for smooth performance with sliding track hangers for simple ,solid fixing into joists.

INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
The minimum clearance required above the structural opening is
- 110mm for a manual door
- 150mm for an electric door
If you will be fitting a handle you will require an additional 45mm for the T-Bar handle or 60mm for the round handle.
INTERNAL FIT - Full Drive through width achieved.
- The minimum clearance required each side of the structural opening is 85mm but we advise 120mm for ease of installation.
INSTALLED BETWEEN THE OPENING
- 200mm of drive through width will be lost.
- 110mm of opening height will be lost.
