Sectional Garage Doors
Don’t worry if you’re a technophobe, our doors and mechanisms are all foolproof and incredibly easy to use; let us talk you through some of the simple points now. Because Gliderol sectional garage doors open upwards into the top of the garage, you need to ensure that you have enough height to accommodate your new purchase. It would be terribly to go through the trouble of choosing and purchasing a door only to find out that you cannot actually accommodate its size; thus it would be wise to take heed of the following minimum height guidelines:
Standard Headroom Fittings (>200mm)
Front mounted torsion springs
Side Room: 120mm (standard) 80mm (minimum)
Headroom (standard): Manual: 200mm Automatic: 250mm

Minimum side room 80mm
Optional Low headroom kit

Optional Low Headroom Fittings (<200mm)
Rear mounted torsion springs
Side Room: 120mm (standard) 80mm (minimum)
Headroom (standard) Manual: 75mm Automatic: 100mm

Minimum side room 80mm
