Insulated Roller Door

So, for all you technical people out there who might be thinking we’re making claims we can’t back up, take a look at these technical specifications and height restrictions to ensure that you know what you’re buying is going to be right for you.

Firstly, and perhaps most importantly, you need to ensure that your new garage door will actually fit! Because our insulated roller doors open upwards into the upper spaces of your garage, there are certain measurements which you need to make sure you can match in order to accommodate your new purchase; similarly, as all our insulated doors are motor-operated, you need to ensure that you can accommodate this as well.   

In order for the insulated roller door to be fitted correctly, you need a minimum of 300mm above the headplate in order for the door to open and store. The width of your door will be 190mm plus the width of the garage opening..

Installing your door

There are two fixing options available to you when considering your insulated roller garage door;  don’t worry if this is something you know nothing about, our operators are more than happy to talk through your options with you and help you to decide which option is ultimately best for you.  You can either fit your door behind the opening of your garage or, if you so choose, you can fit the door in between the opening of your garage. If this all seems a little complicated, and don’t worry, it did to me at first as well, then this diagram should help further explain the two options to you:

The worst thing that could happen is that you spend ages choosing a door and then, it arrives and it doesn’t fit, or you don’t have the space to accommodate the motor; measure your garage thoroughly and double check with us if you have any doubt.
